Gateway Safety Introduces Revolutionary Foam-Lined, Anti-Fog Safety Glasses: StarLite® FOAMPRO™

For those working in dusty environments, foam-lined safety eyewear is a must. Gateway Safety expands the popular StarLite® family and offers a new foam-lined, anti-fog eyewear solution: StarLite FOAMPRO™. These safety glasses are lined with a soft gray foam to prevent dust and debris from getting into the eyes.

But FOAMPRO isn’t using a standard foam. Instead, its new OptiFit™ foam features a revolutionary, tapered design to provide a more tailored fit and an improved seal around the eyes. OptiFit foam was developed to meet the needs of varying facial profiles, reducing gaps with its graduated foam shape.

“We looked at the current products in the market and wanted to develop something with better fit and comfort,” said Gateway Safety product development manager Bonnie San. “Instead of the one-size-fits-all foam every other manufacturer is using, OptiFit foam provides superior protection with its tapered design.”

FOAMPRO is an exceptional anti-fog solution as well. Venting channels along the foam lining help with air circulation behind the lens, and all lens options include Gateway Safety’s quality anti-fog coating. The two features combined help combat fog in a tough way.

The features and benefits don’t stop there. For their workers who may need a little help with their vision, employers can also purchase FOAMPRO in a MAG version, with 1.5 and 2.0 diopters.

“FOAMPRO is truly a one-of-a-kind safety eyewear solution,” said San. “It fits so many worker needs including dust protection, anti-fog, AND offers a bifocal to help workers see small parts or details.”

StarLite FOAMPRO comes with the built-in advantages of the original StarLite, including light weight and independent, third-party certification by UL to meet ANSI Z87+ and CSA Z94.3.
