newest goggle features nextgen™ neoprene headstrap for chemical splash

Gateway Safety’s family of safety goggles has expanded to include two additional splash protection options. The new BigSur® goggle features a revolutionary NextGen™ Neoprene head strap for better resistance to chemical splash. This revolutionary material provides the chemical resistance of traditional neoprene, but has been engineered with a softer material to improve comfort and not catch or pull the hair (a frequent complaint that accompanies neoprene straps).

BigSur also features Gateway Safety’s fX3™ premium anti-fog clear lens, which provides:

  • SUPERIOR ANTI-FOG PERFORMANCE. Engineered with an innovative solution that fights fog better than current alternatives.
  • LONGER-LASTING EFFECTIVENESS. Adheres longer than water-based coatings, and stands up to multiple lens cleanings.
  • GREATER SCRATCH RESISTANCE. Stands up to scratching eight times better than standard anti-fog coatings.

BigSur offers reliable splash protection with a wide field of vision. It meets the ANSI Z87.1-2015 requirements for D3 (droplets/splash) & D4 (dust) ratings. Plus, BigSur is independently tested and certified by Underwriters Laboratories to meet ANSI Z87.1+ and meets the ballistic impact requirements in US Military Performance Specification MIL PRF-32432 (GL).
